The Town of Meeker plans to submit an application for the TSET - Built Environmental Construction Grant to rebuild the front side of Meeker Lake.
The TSET Built Environmental Construction grant includes the development of comprehensive plans for community parks (lakes), trail systems, and playgrounds. These projects promote physical activity.
The Town of Meeker is conducting a community survey until December 31, 2024. The survey information is available on the Meeker Public Work Authority November utility bill or through Text.Gov.

The Town of Meeker, in collaboration with the Meeker Industrial Authority, has applied for the TSET FY26 Built Environment - Healthy Food Grant for the Meeker Farmers Market. It is because of the vendors and the community participation that a solid plan was put into place in 2024 to begin addressing issues with locating a permanent location for the Meeker Farmer’s Market.
The TSET Funding Opportunity No. 092-BEN26, Track 1 made a plan into a possibility.
1.Remove the Old Car Wash
2.Create ADA accessible locations for vendors to set up and community members to purchase and participate.
3.Vendors need electricity and water.
4.Expand the back of Meeker City Hall to include vendor-assigned parking in order to keep the Market free from vendor cars, trucks, and trailers.
5.Create a storm shelter for vendors and patrons in case of a severe storm during a farmer’s market event.
Working with DAP (Design Architects Plus) and in a pre-construction meeting with the Meeker Town Administrator, Meeker Grant Administrator, and Project Manager, MIA Construction Manager, the final construction plan and rendering were created to communicate what can be accomplished with TSET funding.
